Apple Pay^®

Apple Pay is the easier, safer, more secure way to pay for everyday purchases in-store and online using your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Macbook. Apple Pay is available for both YNCU debit cards and Collabria Mastercards!

✓   Sophisticated security measures ensure your card details are never stored on your device, so your personal information stays private.

Before you get started...

Make sure your YNCU debit card is activated. If you recently received a new debit card in the mail, you can activate your card by making a purchase that uses your existing PIN or checking your balance at any ATM.
Check that we have your current cell phone number and email on file. You can update your information through online banking or by contacting our Service Excellence Centre at 1-888-413-YNCU.
Apple Pay is compatible with select Apple devices. To check if your device is compatible, click here.
Ensure your device has the most up-to-date software.

How to set up Apple Pay

iPhone

Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
Tap the + sign in the upper-right corner of your screen.
Follow the prompts to add your YNCU debit card or Collabria Mastercard.
Review your card details to ensure they have been entered correctly.
Accept Terms & Conditions.
Verify your identity using one of the methods provided.

Apple Watch

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Go to the My Watch tab and select your wearable device.
Tap Wallet & Apple Pay and select Add Credit or Debit Card.
Follow the prompts to add your YNCU debit card or Collabria Mastercard.

How to pay with Apple Pay

iPhone with Face ID

Double click the button on the right side of your iPhone to prompt your mobile wallet.
Authenticate using Face ID or enter your passcode.
Hold your phone over the contactless reader until the screen reads Done and a checkmark appears.

iPhone with Touch ID

Place your finger on Touch ID.
Hold your iPhone over the contactless reader until the screen reads Done and a checkmark appears.

Apple Watch

Double click the side button.
Hold your display over the contactless reader until you feel a gentle tap.

Mobile wallet feature for Collabria Mastercards is limited to Apple Pay only and cannot be used with Google Pay or Samsung Pay.
